Yes, this is pretty typical of Finnish humor, from what I've seen.

Snow!

For those not in Ottawa, a weather note: we're having a winter like those I remember from my childhood. There's lots of snow, and it's substantially cold (-20 deg. C at night and -10 during the day, without the wind). It's doing great things for my mood, leaving me quite relaxed and mellow.

Unfortunately for my work, it will make installing outdoor equipment a bit more interesting next week: wading through the 30 cm of new snow on top of the 20 or 30 that's already there will be a bit of a task, and woe betide the fool who drops a connector into it!
