CD Baby has interesting and rare music... take a look sometime!

This is basically a self-wishlist post, for my own future reference (gift money has to go somewhere!), and for the interest of anyone following my music tastes (not rank-ordered):

Aquaform--Undercurrent

Constance Demby--Sanctum Sanctuorum
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/demby

E.S. Posthumus--Unearthed
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/esposthumus

Radium 88--Artificial Life
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/radium882

Radium 88--Only Science Can Tell Us the Truth
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/radium885

Ametrine--Desert Starlight
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/ametrine

Current--Enter the Dream
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/currentsounds1

Current--Communion
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/currentsounds2

Current--Musik
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/currentsounds3

Interesting things that didn't quite make it to the wishlist (yet?):

Circular--Glass Darkly

(This is dubious for use as a gift list, because there is no way to know that two people aren't getting the same thing!)

Yes, I like quite a bit of more mellow, experimental, trip-hoppy, new-agey stuff, even though a fair bit of what you'll hear me play if I'm DJ'ing is more trancey. I can DJ this stuff, but few people want to hear much of it, especially in a DJ'ed context.

You DJ? :O
So cool!!!
May I ask to be informed of the whens & wheres next time I'm in town/next time it is feasible that I attend such a DJ'ed event?
I'd be interested in experiencing your DJ'ness. :)
Allow me to repeat: SOOO COOL!!! ^^
Man of many talents, you are!
Hope to see you soonish (for gaming?). If not, happy holidays.

I haven't done anything more than bedroom DJ'ing (i.e., DJ'ing at home) for a while, since the promo work is just not my bag, given that I have other hobbies. Still, there may be an occasion to try some music listening sometime...

And yes, gaming and socializing would be fun... when are you in town?

The only difficulty I've had with CDBaby is that they take a LONG time to ship.

Good to know; thanks!

I wonder if this is a press-on-demand kind of thing behind the scenes...

That part may vary - they may have some stuff that is press on demand, but they have other stuff that certainly isn't.

I have a couple of friends who sell their CDs through CDBaby and they're selling already-pressed+packaged CDs.

I suspect the long time to ship may also depend on the items. I ordered a bunch of Dave Carter/Tracey Grammer CDs a few months ago, and got them all within a couple of weeks.
