Any of you folks have recommendations (or anti-recommendations) for professional movers?

Yes, we like our friends so much that we're getting professionals to help with the move.

I can tell you that I've been most satisfied with "Déménagment Maximum", which do both sides of the river and both rivate and commercial movings.

In any case, please contact the equivalent the Ontario equivalent to the "Office de la protection du consommateur" (OPC): they will check àthe backgrounds and any potential company that you're thinking about.

Personnally, I've picked three (3) that had big adds in last year's yellow pages (they pay money for big ads in yellow pages, they didn't opened just last week and they've been in business long enough to understand that yellow pages pay on the long run), and I've checked the backgrounds to both the OPC and the Better Business Bureau (BBB)...
