What is politician weather, you ask?
Big thunder, little rain.

It would be nice if we did get the rain.
All the thunder on it's own does is scare the dogs and tax the water supply.

You should have been driving through it. There was a *ton* of water out there, even if it all fell fast.
My lawn looks better already.

Probably... but when I posted this, there had been a lot of flash and boom, and a spattering of water.
Ah, suburbia, the golden fields of parched lawns.

Oh, I missed the timestamp. Yeah, that was before the rain really got underway.

Yeah, I'm like three blocks from you. I've been waiting on this.

Well, three biiig blocks, as I recall, if you're still out towards Hazeldean.
The real question will be whether the grass has enough reserves to make it through the winter, I think.

Most of our grass is already dead because Dog and Street Sweepings Get Pushed Onto The Lawn, Salt And All (back and front, respectively)
But the rain is still nice.

*nods* I think the grass is really not well-suited to our climate and lifestyle anyway, although it's not as bad as in the Saguenay, where it's pretty much a lost cause.

It was a lot of rain while I was in the middle of it.

Keeping it all for yourself, were you?
