Thursday, my ankle was sore; yesterday, I was having real trouble walking, so I made an appointment with my doctor. He diagnosed it as tendinitis and prescribed an anti-inflammatory for 1 to 2 weeks, which is working very well; I expect I'll be back at aikido on Monday, although I'll try not to be too hard on it. This is much better than I expected, which was to be off it for a couple of weeks!

So do I, thanks! So far so good, and the meds may also give some minor relief to my knee, but it's not something I want to take for too long.

My husband has struggled with severe tendinitis. It went on for a long time because it took so long to identify and start to do something about. He finds that stretching in the morning first-thing helps, long walks help, turmeric helps a lot (especially the fresh root), and small amounts of seafood with lots and lots of fresh leafy greens.
