Lonely

For whatever reason, a wave of loneliness just smacked me pretty hard.

Generally, when I get lonely, I call people up and do something social. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at work, and the stuff I'm working on these days is pretty solitary. (It's also pretty stuck, as I'm waiting for the tech support guys at Altera to answer a question about their VHDL analysis software.) Result: one non-happy phoenix.

So, straight up: if you're interested in doing something, going somewhere, or hanging out, an invite would be nice. (I have a family thing Saturday, but am otherwise flexible.)

Thanks for the thoughts; I remember going on conference in Orlando basically on my own, and finding it a bit lonely, and that was just for a week. I'll think of ya too, and we'll get through!
