Karting update

Just a note that we are still planning on going karting this Saturday if the weather is good, and if you're interested, there's still room. Because we expect there to be fewer than 10 of us, we will show up on the day and take what we can get; I recommend budgeting $80 for the racing, just in case we can persuade them to give us the full track. In the (unfortunately likely-looking) event of rain, we'll go next Saturday, October 4th, instead. I'll post a final verdict by noon on Saturday as to whether we're going this week or not.

Currently, the expected racers are ilanikhan, niall_, green_ogre, blinkus2000, M.V., and myself, with xiphia thinking of coming to give moral (or other) support!

I gather none of your co-conspirators (Im thinking Ilanikhan and Green_ogre in particular) are planning to attend the Kingston Dance event on October 4th?

I am not planning on attending the Dance Event (as I do not dance). Green_ogre I think is, and I expect karting will lose out :)

And I had a common friend gawk at me last night, with "I didn't know you knew ironpheonix!!" Sily girl, I have a hand somehow in all Ottawa fandoms. And I told her that. They never believe me. :) (I just don't necessarily am part of all Ottawa fandoms, just that I know enough people who are themselves part of them.)

Well, if by "last night" he actually means "last games day" then it might have been me, since I have now met him through four completely independent circles of friends, and I did comment on such and received the described response. However, if he literally meant "the evening before today" then it must have been some other mysterious woman in your life. ;)
