Aaaah, luxury!

This weekend, we finally got fed up with the chintzy, overly flow-restricting showerhead Minto installed in our apartment when they were managing our building, and splurged a whole $27 on a new one with a wide "rain" spray.

SO. AWESOME.

If you don't see [livejournal.com profile] soul_diaspora and/or me for a week or two, check the shower.

didn't take me long to put a new shower head in my place. I could claim an extra 4-5 inches of height that way as well.

Yes, I can see where that last bit would be important for you!

*looks speculatively at shower*

*comes to inescapable conclusion about apartment shower*

Ummm, two's company, three's a crowd, four in the shower is not allowed.

This just means that turns will have to be taken...

Hey, if you manage to sneak in without me noticing, I bowz 2 ur mad ninja skillz!

Of course, even if I do notice, I'm unlikely to complain...

The wide spray rain showerhead came with my apartment when I moved in. I think if and when I move I'm going to buy an el cheapo one and yoink it.

[identity profile] ironphoenix.livejournal.com 2008-10-16 11:45 am (UTC)(link)
The difference in cost between an el cheapo and the $27 one I got is not that vast... the ones they put on for super-limited water flow may actually have cost more than the one I bought to replace it.

Maybe it's an On thing. Or I have just been lucky with apartments because none of the ones I've lived in on this side of the river have always had a decent amount of water pressure and amount of water coming through the showerheads.
